Negligence means failure to provide care to the patient or health care professional does not meet appropriate standards of care. Some of the common examples of negligence are;,medication error that affect patients life ,failure to use sterile technique when indicated .failure to monitor clients conditions and so on.

Malpractice defined as it is a violation of standard of care .If the staff owed a duty to the patient and didnot carry out the duty and the client was injured because the nurse failed to perform the duty.If the staff failed to protect the clients safety by not using the restraints devices the nurse would be liable if the patient is harmed.

Leaving aganist medical advice refers that patient is under care of the heailth care team and the client is leaving aganist doctors recommendations .

False imprisonment occurs when restraining devices are used without an appropriate clinical need.
