1. Malpractice in hospital

Though malpractices when compared to the past has improved due to many rules and regulations put by authorities for better health care to people, there are still malpractices that are practiced by medical professionals. Some are done by mistake where as some are not.

Some of the malpractices that i have noticed during my studies or heared from experienced people are:

1.Wrong diagnosis of patients. My professor told me that he was once diagnosed with T. B. They started the antibiotics course for 9 months. After few days the doctor realised that it was a mistake and that my professor didn't have T. B. but he had to continue his antibiotics course for 9 months to prevent resistance of drugs. This caused a lot of inconvenience and money for him.

2.This happened in a hospital nearby that the doctor had performed surgery in the wrong part.

3.unnecessary prescription of antibiotics are a common problem
