What do you need in order to be happy? Is it better to be satisfied with what you have or to strive to improve it?

Think if we all satisfied with same old Edison bulb we can't imagine luxury of led bulbs. But happiness is enjoying what you have, a handful of candy can make a kid equally happier, to a man who wins a lottery. Happiness comes from what you got in your hands which you can feel, smell, kiss, taste or so.
Satisfaction is the connection between what you want and what you have. It's a temporary state of mind, today you might be satisfied with a latest iPhone but it fades once you find latest model in market.
Not being satisfied with what you have in long run, once your happiness fades you start wanting a better one and once you got what you want you start feeling satisfied and again it starts fading and it goes round and round.Its a cycle and striking a balance is the key to happiness.
Being satisified and happy with what you have is is equally important as striving for more happiness and improving your life either personally or professionally.To stay happy in life doesnt mean one stops working hard and striving for a goal,we all need new challenges in life to keep ourselves motivated and to live our lives,so continuous improvement and changes in life are equally important for happiness as well.
