What is Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)? What are the clinical diagnostic characters causes by PTSD?
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder:
PTS is a disorder related to mental health that develops after triggered by a life-threatening situation. EX: accidents, natural disaster, sexual assault. Everyone will be frightened while experiencing a traumatic event, but usually, they come out after a while.Someone who continues frightening experience for a long time may be diagnosed as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
It may be acute or chronic. Symptoms may appear within 3 months or maybe a long time of over a year. The recovery period also varies based on the condition of the patient. Many factors such as previous traumatic experience, age, gender can lead to PTSD.
