First try to understand what is kinetic energy.It deals with energy possesed due to motion.So for any system if the motion is same at two different places in this universe then its kinetic enrgy will be same.Example- If a body moves with speed v in straight line motion then its K.E =(1/2)mv^2 and if the same body moves in same motion in space then also its K.E=(1/2)mv^2

Potential energy is energy stored within a body due to its position in a system combining of atleast more than one constituent. So if the same conditions generate at two different places in this universe then its potential enrgy will be same.Exapmle- If at some other planet has all properties same as earth(like mass of planet,radius of planet etc) then at height H its P.E will be = mgh. Which will also be same at earth.

So we conclude that Kinetic energy and potential energy calculation methods won't change but its value might change on other planets and space.
