Government to Citizen is also defined as G2C. It is a way in which citizens are provided with essential services from the government. It is generally a portal that connects the government directly with its citizens. For example, applying for certificates and marriage registration.  

Government to Business is also defined as G2B. It is a way in which businesses are provided with facilities and important information from the government. It is a portal that connects the government with various businesses from various industries. For example, auction and tender information.

Government to Government is also called G2G. It is a way in which the government is connected with other governments at the state level. It involves passing important information and data among other governments. For example, intimating the state government about the new law in place that has to be implemented in state government.

Government to Employee is also called G2E. It is a portal that connects the government with its employees. In which important information and circular are passed from government to employees. Also, employees are allowed to apply for benefits available for the employees. For example, e-learning facility from the government to employees.
