What are the four phases of website design and what is involved with each phase?
The following are the four phases of website design:
1. Planning: The first phase in web design would be the planning stage which includes the need assessment and creation of objectives for designing a web. This need analysis would include analysing requirements, defining target audience, design model etc.
2. Ideation: In ideation stage the designers would be ready to convert their ideas into prototype; the UX designers would create information architecture. Typically at this stage navigation maps, building a sight path and defining clear taxonomy of design would be done.
3. Design: At this stage the visual component of a website would be ready. The user interface design creates visual appeal and also establishes the organization brand identity. The UI designers would create reference guides for this style of the products.
4. Implementation and Evaluation: The last step would be implementation and evaluation where various test would be conducted in order to find out the product ready. At this phase the QA specialist and the UI, UX designers would check for bugs inconsistency etc and provide feedback, also user testing would be done in order to find out new iterations and make fixes accordingly.
