What are the four phases of M&A, and what happens at each phase?
The four phases of M&A are:-
1. Phase 1
This is the due deligence phase which means that the target company that is to be acquired is properly studied and assessment and analysis is created based on the values that the company exhibit.
2. Phase 2
This is the migration phase where the staff and resources from the other company are dissolved into the present resource and the workers of our company. A new company culture is defined and some form of resistance might be seen.
3. Phase 3
This is the welcoming phase of M&A in which, migration of the other Co. Pan's staff and resources is completed and communication occurs between the different part i. Order to facilitate the adjustment of the other company's employees and resources.
4. Phase 4
This can also be called the integration phase, this is where the most amount of time is spend in order to create a cohesive team with similar values, goals and skill level and essentially shows the purpose of the M&A in the first place.
