The firm Acme Incorporation is a business organization involved in production of fast fashion clothes which occupies an integral position in fashion industry. It mostly falls in the category of "Analyser" because it keeps a keen eye on the changes taking place in the fashion industry. It tries best to keep its pulse on the trends and fads taking place in the market so as to adjust its clothing styles and designs to match the changing tastes, likings and preferences of customers. This makes the organization a firm Analyser who does not take risk but also prepares itself for change whenever necessary and required through staying alert and critical to adapt and accommodate to such changes.
Yes the Staffing system supports the strategy that the firm utilizes as the roles and responsibilities are established in such a manner which supports flexibility and adaptability in the work methods, techniques or tasks. The superior subordinate relationship is organised to facilitate effective analysis and corresponding change. Each department engages in market research and identifies opportunities to exploit for the business.
The Analysis teams are organised with representatives from critical and most functional areas of business who ensure that the industrial trends are followed and keen interest is out on the various external forces which can directly affect the organisation.
The career orientation is encouraged and transfers take place to increase the array of skills of employees for staying current and relevant to the present environment. Laissez faire leadership style adds support to the strategy through providing initiative to employees in their jobs and encouraging creativity and innovative ideas.
The selection system which I will recommend to ensure that newcomers have the requisite skills for such firms will include :
Matching job description with the job requirements which will help to place right person at the right place and at the right time for handling and managing the changes taking place.
Establishing a minimum eligibility criteria in which those only proving apt for the nature of business and complexities of job will be accepted as prospective candidates.
Candidates scoring high on change management, stress management and risk bearance will be considered as prospects.
