a) Project Charter:

Technology is not just a tool but it’s more than what we think and believe, as we know that most of them in today’s generation are looking forward to use things in such a way that their entire work is completed as well as their time is saved.

Our project is about generating highlights of video as well as document which are discrete in nature, but it’s much effective technique for time saving as well as giving accurate results. Extracting highlights manually from a full match video or any other video related to different subjects requires a lot of human effort. It is a time-consuming task and unless you work for a video company that does this job day in and day out, you need to find a different approach. It is also memory-hogging to store a full match video. So, extracting highlights automatically from a full match video saves a lot of time for the creator as well as the user. We are making use of NLP (Natural Language Processing) as well as CV (Computer Vision) technology to develop this project.

Propelled by the modern technological innovations, data is to this century what oil was to the previous one. Today, our world is parachuted by the gathering and dissemination of huge amounts of data. With such a big amount of data circulating in the digital space, there is need to develop machine learning algorithms that can automatically shorten longer texts and deliver accurate summaries that can fluently pass the intended messages. Furthermore, applying text summarization reduces reading time, accelerates the process of researching for information, and increases the amount of information that can fit in an area.

b) Project Scope:

Scope of this project is to create a training model which will automatically generate highlights of a given full length video and to generate summaries (abstract) of a given document to reduce the reading time. To compare the abstracts with all the documents and research papers to identify the similarity between them. To reduce time of an individual by providing a user-friendly User Interface .To eliminates the dependency on an employee who generates the highlights and save the budget.
