Have you ever engaged in a little social loafing?
Have you ever lost your head and been caught up in a group's destructive action
Have you ever felt peer pressure to act more in accordance with the behavioral norms of a group?
1) Social loafing is nothing but a concept which means that when the person works alone he is more productive and when a person works with a group then he deliberately gives lesser performance because of which the whole group suffers which means that because of that person the overall productivity goes down for a group. Honestly, I have engaged in social loafing with my previous project namely: Student Information management System wherein I worked with less productivity and hence the output of the system decreases.
2) When I was working in Student Information Management system project I did lose my head and got caught up in group’s destructive action because I feel the reason was that I was not able gel well with the group members and also I did not have that much believe in the work that we were doing.
3) Yes in another project I felt the peer pressure wherein everyone was abiding by the rules so as it was a shared objective so I had to mend my ways to fit into the group and take similar steps to achieve the end goal.
