1. The objective behind the program is to determine adoption rates of paediatric-oriented health record EHR featured by US Childrens hospitals. They used various methods and materials for surveying the members of the Childrens Hospitals Association.Firstly they measured adoption of paediatric-oriented features and inquired about the relevance of the program to paediatrics ,as well as its influence on EHR implementation priorities. The results were that about 100%of164 responded to the survey .Implementation rates rates varied based on chidrens hospital type and about 60% of hospitals having EHR didnt contain all features essential for quality care. But the majority of hospitals indicated that the meaningful use program had no effect on the adoption of paediatric features, while some others have long ago forgotten to incorporate the features because of the program.

2. The background used in the survey are Stage 2 and proposed Stage 3 criteria ask providers to support patient care cordination by electronically generating ,exchanging and reconciling key information during patient care transitions. The method used was a random sample of practices of primary care in Michigan, which have already met Stage1.The results were that the three barriers identified ,by about more than 65% required a change in the complex workflow. Most primary care providers agree that meeting the proposed Stage 3 cordination would improve patients treatment. The end result shows that inorder to provide proper care ,it is necessary to implement new approaches as well as systemic changes in organizational strategies.
