Expert Solution

1. The main things that comes into my mind, when I have read about the synopsis of 'Iron Jawed Angels' is that a passionate women's fight for their right to vote. This film is based on the true story. In 1912, women at that time were just treated like caregivers, wives and house keepers and are always discriminated in comparison with men. This film has shown how women were deprived in the society and unequally they are treated interms of physical, mental and emotional ways. This film truly depicts the situation of women from past to present and it clearly says that struggle of many young women for rights gave the current situation of women empowerment to all the women living in the current times of the world.

2. The most well known women's right activist in the history is SUSAN B ANTHONY (1820-1906).

She fought for women's right to vote in America and as a result of her consistent efforts along with other women, America has passed the right to vote for women in 1920 in the 19th Amendment. In 1920, election dat millions of women has voted for the government. This victory ended 100 years of suffering of women to exercise their right to vote.
