The proliferation of social media has made it easier for companies to reach out to their customers. Companies, especially new start-ups, may not afford to dive into every social media channel. They, instead, choose several platforms and focus exclusively on delivering quality content to target customers. answer-
Social media has become the top choice of every company old or new, big or small because of its low cost and reach to masses with very less time. There are many social media platforms like Instagram, FB, youtube, Twitter,Linkedin etc but Company can not target thier audience on all social media platforms. They can select those social media platforms based on thier marketing objectives, type of products they are selling, Thier target customers etc. They can choose those social media platforms which are famous, have huge base of active users and easy to market products or services.
The factors they should consider when determining the most suitable platform are first They must know their target audience. Knowing target audience helps in making decision more easy. For example if a company sells beauty product then use Instagram not FB because Many females and makeup lovers are on Instagram. Second factor is Type of product or service you offer. For example- if you sell smartphone then use Youtube because Many people watch reviews and demo on youtube. Third thing is Famous and strong user base because social media which are in trend and have huge user base help the company to market its products or services effectively. This will help the company to measure its performance by Likes, reviews, user engagement on the social media.
