Expert Solution

The three companies are AMD, INTEL, ARM

AMD - AMD's Ryzen 7 2700X processor is the latest version

Intel - Intel's Core i7-9700K

ARM - ARMv8-A (64 bit) and ARMv7-A (32 bit)

Comparison between AMD, Intel, ARM processors.

  • AMD, without question. Although, you should consider an aftermarket cooler if you wish to overclock your CPU to its fullest.
  • Ryzen features eight cores and 16 threads, whereas Intel’s i7 doesn’t offer thread doubling like AMD
  • AMD offers the better platform for motherboard choice. Intel’s options are restrictive and somewhat elitist, which arbitrarily raises the entry costs for Intel-based setups.
  • Intel. With higher maximum clock speeds and more performance gains, an Intel Core i7-9700K offers better overlocking potential.
  • Intel. Intel’s Core i7-9700K is the best overall gaming CPU. The i9-9900K may outperform it in some cases, but the extra costs overshadow the small performance delta. AMD’s CPUs aren't as competitive at the highest level of gaming performance.
  • Intel is faster and more powerful than ARM processors. But, ARM processors are more mobile-friendly than Intel processors (in most cases). ... Intel-based Macs will so be released with Apple's own ARM processors, while we've seen some great things coming from Microsoft.
  • ARM processor features include Load/store architecture, An orthogonal instruction set,Mostly single-cycle execution, Enhanced power-saving design, 64 and 32-bit execution states for scalable high performance, hardware virtualization support.

So in the above comparison we have seen the main things because of which we can state the main upgrades we need in that particular field.

They are as follows :

  1. In AMD processors the organization should keep an eye for upgrading the following features :- Threads, Motherboard Choice, Cores, Cooling System.

I have given these names because AMD processors are already so powerful in this specifications .

2. Intel. With higher maximum clock speeds and more performance gains so the organization must do a upgrade whenever it is necessary in this field

3.Intel processors are the best processors in terms of Gaming Zone, so there must be a upgrade whenever required in the field of gaming area.

4.Arm processor is having the widest range of devices from sensors to servers , so there must be an upgrade in the following field for future perspective.

There are some CPU chips scrapped by Intel. Each chip is functional with probability p ∈ (0, 1) (and malfunctional with probability 1−p), independently of other chips. Each functional chip meets the Core i3 standard, Core i5 standard and Core i7 with equal probability 1/3, again, independently of other chips. Now, you purchased 5 such chips. Let E1 be the event that you get at most 2 functional chips. Let E2 be the event that among the 5 chips you...

Each student should choose a company and create a new product or service for the company chosen (It can be any company). The new product or service must be consistent with the company’s current offerings. An example of an inconsistent product offering would be if Chrysler (an automotive company) began to sell chocolate. The final project should consist of the following items: 1.
