How have attitudes towards illness and the ill endured or changed from the post-Civil War period to the present?
Post civil war period increase the number of mortality and illness among the general population, it affected their health and wellbeing. war destroyed family, community, socioeconomic condition of the nations. it causes various chronic physical illness and psychological conditions to adults and children. it increased the physical and mental health problem and psychiatric traumas. war situations made people suffer from traumatic illness and psychosomatic illness. Attitides towards illness increase among women, children with distress. that time there were no social support and poor community based development and gender-based violence cause major mental disorder. it need important implications for solving this issues through rehabilitation program that reduce the effects of the conflict situation. At present this illness changes due to physical and psychological support that reduces the effect of war-related injury and illness. cultural and religious practices help cope with this conflict illness and situations, it provided new developmental concepts, understanding, solutions in the present century. Taskforce development supports the war-related illness in emergency settings.
