When the women are retired from the service they are confined at home. They do not have steady source of income. They depend on some little pension that does not suffice to their livelihood. When they are victim of the dangerous and chronic disease they face the economic scarcity. They do not get new job for their age. Even they can not work as the attendant to a sick person. Besides, it appears that in the family the economic control is in the hand of the male members. So they do not have financial freedom. When they are ill they are neglected.

Menopause is a biological fact. The common symptoms of menopause are:

  • Weight gain
  • The metabolism rate is slow.
  • The woman faces lack of sound sleep.
  • There is dryness in the sex organ.
  • They lack interest to every action and become short-tempered.
  • They feel weakness.
  • There may be perspiration in the night.

With hormone therapy one can be free from the problems of menopause. It is not harmful. It helps one to be free from vaginal irritation. On the other hand, it also makes one free from the sense of inferiority and she appears more enthusiastic and active.
