As the charge nurse of a unit within a long-term health care facility, explain what principles you would use to prioritize the coordination of care when assigning and delegating tasks among the nursing and unlicensed personnel staff. Include in your response how you would continue to assess patient care throughout your shift

As the nursing incharge of a unit in a heath care facility i would like to prioritize high coordination of care while assigning any duty to nursing and other unlicensed peronnel staff, keeping in mind the following concerns:

  • the overall wellbeing of the patients
  • cultural and human values of patients as well as staff
  • effective communication betwee patient and other healthcare personnels
  • at a time giving full authority of work in a proper way
  • the professional growth as learning concers of the staff
  • poviding work on the basis of the expertize of the staff as well as on the basis of the volunteerism, as it will be highly effective strategy.

More over in the shift i would like to ensure overall patient care throughout the shift and there will be proper concern of staff as well as the patients fulfilling their oraganizational and healthcare expectation.

Hence at the last i would like to conclude that as the nursing incharge iwill will try to harmonize to heathcare staff in regards to best care deliverered to the patients.
