Edward Snowmen is Amrican National. He is a software professional earlier employed with CIA. He was also a former contractor for the United States Government. He copied and leaked classified information from National Security Agency(NSA) without authorization. His disclosures revealed numerous global survellience programs, many run by NSA.

The U. S Government has charged Snowden with theft of government property and two counts of violating Espionage Act of 1917 through unauthorized communication of national defense information and wilful communication of classified intelligence information to an unauthorized person.
