The article that I have selected for the purpose of this answer is titled business and the environment by HBS.

The article is about the impact that business process have over the environment and how different processes have affected the natural environment from the utilization of raw material to the generation and dumping of waste and improper business practices of manufacturing units and how it is the responsibility of the business to cater to the needs of the environment.

The article wrote about the issues of environment sustainability and adopting practices that allow the businesses to create lesser wastage and increase their productivity effectively reducing the impact that these processes have on the environment. Using processes like lean and sigma six methodologies, companies can effectively reduce production wastage which benefits both the business itself and its environment. It is our responsibility to work to restore the environment and we, as a human should work towards restoring it.
