Violent retaliation is an act of violence , with the intention of harming people. In some cases it is an act of injustice.

Gang rape: It is an act of violence, where a group of people collectively rapes the person.

Mass revolt : When a large number of people protests against an issue collectively. Many people act violently by beating , thrashing people .

This affects the society , and thus keeping the people in anxiety , trauma and fear. Hence , people in society are always disturbed. This in turn affects their health as well.

Among many , I would like to discuss one of the social violence act . It is known as Criminal Law , which is also known as Nirbhaya Act . It was amended in the year 2013. The person involved in the crime of gang rape will be given severe punishment . It includes imprisonment of the person till 3 years or more. It can be a case of death sentence as well.

The Criminal Act , 2013 includes:

a) Stalking

b) Acid attack

c) Sexual violence

d) Voyeurism

e) Trafficking of a person. It is an act , in which the people engage in activities like prostitution .
