together they will start treating girls as equals.

need to delay the childs marriage after she is economically,
physically and sexually mature.
- Teach boys to treat their sister and mothers with respect.
- Boys are bound to emulate the male head of the family. The male
head of the family should counselled about gender equality.
- Seats can be reserved in colleges, universities so that more
and more women go for higher education.
- In places where there is female infanticide, the government
should sponsor the child's education and marriage.
- Women should be given equal inheretance rights.
- A newly married couple or a lady about to get married should be
counselled about the evils of domestic violence.
- Awareness regarding the social and legal consequences of
domestic violence should be made through mass- media and social
media.
