A healthy, fully functioning brain is key in the learning process. Please discuss how the hindbrain, midbrain, and forebrain work together to help promote learning. Please also discuss at least 1 brain injury or disease and the potential issues that could arise as a result.

Brain has been divides into three basic units : forebrain, midbrain and hindbrain. These three parts of the brain work together and each part performs its specific function.
Hindbrain which consist the upper part of the spinal cord, brain stem and cerebellum. Hindbrain controls heart rate, body temperature and respiration and cerebellum function is to coordinate muscle movements while as midbrain controls some reflex actions. The fore brain which is consisted of the cerebrum holds memories, images, thinking and plans.
Alzheimer's disease is a disease in which progressive and fatal neurodegeneration occurs and neurons release proteins that accumulates as beta amyloid peptides. This occurs due to hypertension and altherosclerosis. Memory loss, language deterioration, visuospatial deficits, motor and sensory disturbances, gait disturbances, seizures are cuased by this disease.
