How would you undertake dispute resolution within the constraints of the legislation and the policies and procedures for work which you do/ or might do? Prepare 1–5 page report discussing dispute resolution in the financial services industry.

Every workplace is not perfect. In case of the grievances, various steps can be undertaken to solve them. The steps are listed below :

1)Discussing the complaint with Immediate Supervisor

The staff should be encouraged to share the particular incident with their immediate supervisor with 5 business days of occurence. If they feel unsafe then next step should be followed .

2)Submitting a written complaint to a senior level manager

By using this step, a formal written complaint can be submitted to the designated senior managers or HR representatives. The timeperiod for this is 7 days after skipping of first step.

3) Holding a meeting by senior managers. ?

Meeting should be hold between senior manager or HR representative and the employee. The timeperiod for this is during 5 days of received the formal written in the second step of submitting a written complaint to senior manager. The meeting will help and provide a better opportunity to discuss the complaint will be kept as confidential.

4) Investigation by senior manager about the complaint

In this step investigation is carried out in which the coworkers arw also interviewed and documentation is done as it is essential for formulating a decision. .

5) Documenting the decision

After the examination and investigation, senior manager tgen need to reach at a decision.

6) Sharing the Decision

The decision taken will then be communicated to the employees. This is sharing of the decision.
