Technical reviews can be formal, informal, or somewhere in between. How might you decide which type of review process best fits your project? What specific qualities of your project would help guide this decision?

For a technical review process there will be specific qualities of project

1)experience range of different kind of project

There will be different teams comes with different types of project.The team should go withsingle fixed idea on how projects should run in a good way.

2)Project management skills

Reviewer must know what the options and what constitutes good practice in difficult circumustances, they have to understand deeply of content and it will be differenciate between superficial compliances and accepted policies.

3) Technical skills

Its the project structure depends on particular skills,technologies , then the review team has suffiecient understanding of these areas to assess how they have been applied.This doesn't mean that every member of review team need technical expertise , but team must have expertise in some other way.

4) Analysis and evidence gathering

Reviewers often take a broad perspective, Looking briefly at the project focusing on big picture. But once they have got a sense of where the issues lie, they need to able to drill down and gather analyse detailed evidence. It can be very difficult to convince a project team of the review team's findings so they can communicate those findings effectively.

5) Observation

Reviewer's need to be sensitive to other signs of what is going on. The clues about project and team dynamics that may be evident in interaction patterns, workplace arrangements, body language, deliverables and so on. But they can valuable signs that you need to look more deeply in certain areas.

6) Courage

Project teams and executives rarely want to hear bad news. Reviewers need the courage to give such news when necessary, in face of disbelief even downright hostility from the audience. They need to be able to hold their ground and argue their case without becoming overly aggressive or defensive.
