Answer:

1.Science is based on careful and systematic study. A hypothesis has to underwent many testing and re-testing before it is established as a theory. A careful observation is very important before forming hypothesis. In simple words, Science is based on proven facts and knowledge.

On the other hand, Intuition is knowledge from within based on our past experience and research. It can be true sometimes, but there is no base to support this. As we know from the defination of science, Science has no place for intuition but it can sometimes be helpful.

2. There is several resons behind it. some of them are:

  1. Candidates are more likely to lie when they are asked questions related to sexuality, drug use etc. The data collected will not be relaible .
  2. Due to lack of self-awareness, participants can give incorrect information.
  3. Due to lack of proper understanding of the questions, information collected can be incorrect.
  4. Due to response bias, collected data may not be reliable.
  5. Data collected from self report is Ordinals in almost all cases. To interpret these data,  parametric statistical techniques are used,which lead to deviation.

3.) A good scientific research has following qualities:

  1. A good scientic research is universal. It can be applied anywhere.
  2. It can be replicated.
  3. It generates new ideas and approaches.
  4. It is based on pre-existant theory and follows rational approach.
  5. The purpose of the research should be clearly defined.
