Dermatology Case Study (Hint: Diagnosis possibly Rosacea)
Ms. Sophie 42 years of age, has been a patient for several years and has chronic allergies. She hasn't been in the office for over a year.
CC: "I can't stand the constant burning and itching in my face."
Physical exam:
· Forehead, nose, and both cheeks have a rosy hue.
· There are a few inflammatory papules in the nasal area.
· There is slight bilateral redness to the conjunctiva.

Rosacea causes redness and small red, pus filled bumps on the face. Flushing and redness in the center of face. Stringing and burning sensation. Dry, rough, scaly, sensitive skin.
