A team is formed to perform some specific activity. A goal is set before the team. So, the team's primary goal is to reach at the goal. I was one of the members of a team in the town and the purpose of the team was to do plantation in our locality. The goal was to "Make surrounding green".

The team was really productive because the team leader was very efficient and there was good harmony in the team. All the team members would work harmoniously and we had same purpose. The various activities would be distributed among various members. The team meeting would take place et the end of every week. The plan would be prepared on the basis team discussion. The works progress of the last week, the next plan, the problems, the collection of funds etc would be discussed openly.

All the members would respect each other. There was no differences in ideals. No prejudice caused any split in the group harmony. The group values would be maintained properly there. Therefore a close relationship was built among the group members. If there was any conflict, it would be cleared with discussion among the group members.

For following the group norms the group was successful and effective.
