  • When you have a sense of competence,i,e the ability to do something successfully and the feeling of Yes,I can do it! you develop the confidence to take up any challenges that come your way.
  • And when their is self competence,then it leads to higher self esteem,which is the belief in one's worth.Having a sense of competence,build self esteem as it motivates the person to take control of their lives and explore their full potential.It helps to create a feeling in the person that how much they value themselves and develop an assertive and positive attitude towards life,leading to confidence to accomplish one's goals.
  • Competence helps the person to take up new behaviours,attempt them,fail at them,learn from their mistakes and finally accomplish them which helps the person to successfully take up any challenge in the future,this sense of competence leads to self esteem as the person develops confidence on one's ability to try out new things and overcome their weaknesses.
