How would you determine if an existing Early childhood Education checklist or rating scale is appropriate for children of various cultures? Give an example of a behavior or development that would be be best studied via the checklist and rating scales and an example of a behavior that would be difficult to assess.

Children across all the world share the common behaviour or the common development phases irrespective of culture, race, economic status. Rating scale can from 1-3 1 is never, 2 can be sometimes and 3 can be always.

Early childhood education would just focus on brain or social development instead of any study or writing pattern. They would concentrate more on 'doing things' rather than language or anything else.

Does the child cries while going to nursery?

Does the child eats whatever is being offered in kindergarten or the tiffin that you give him?

Are the teachers friendly or caring enough with children?

Are any festivals celebrated in kindergarten, or any sports day or any cultural event?

Does child tells back home whatever has happened in school?

Is child interested in stories or poems?

Are there any physical activities such as swing or merry go round in nursery? - yes or no

Does the child mimics teacher?
