Some of the effective ways in which an individual can balance themselves in order to stay protected from the feelings of anxiety are as follows:-

  • Focusing on the present moment - This is one of the most effective ways to reduce anxiety. That is, instead of worrying about what is going to happen, the individual should take control of what is happening right now.
  • Effective breathing - This is one of the fastest ways to mitigate the physiological effects of anxiety. This gives back a lot of control to the individual and just a few deep breaths can go a long way in reducing anxiety.
  • Talking to a friend and asking for an opinion - This is also one of the most effective ways in which an individual can balance themselves. This is because the other individual can point out any of the overthinking that you might be doing and as a result it leads to a reduction in anxiety.
