Imagine you are working for a Korean company. How you would be able to deal with the Korean management style, and what would probably be the biggest cultural challenges for you to accommodate to such an environment?
Korean management style is perhaps best characterized as egalitarian. Egalitarianism is a belief in human equality- especially in social, political, and economic affairs.
• A strong work ethic is also characteristic of the Korean management style. Long hours and strong company loyalty are the norm for Korean managers. Korean managers, as well as workers, " will do what's best for the company because the company is part of themselves". That is one of an important strong behaviour of Koreans in my view.
• Korean management policies typically encourage face-to-face meetings between company employees and managers. This is consistent with their consensus style of managing.
● Above mentioned are a few management style of Koreans. I am going to mention some of the points that i would be able to deal with Korean management styles.
