The line process is used when the production of the standardized product has to be made in huge quantities. Example= The production of FMCG products such as soft drink
Work centers are used for the production of high variety and relatively medium quantity of the products. In this, the different machines are grouped as per their operations and the product moves from one area of operations to others. Example= Production of various utensils.
A project process is used for the production of huge products such as aircraft r ship and in this the product is stationary and machines and ma power come to the product.
A continuous process is a process in which there is no interruption of the product production. An example of this can be seen as the products made of paper boards. Once the paper board is molded, it goes to the next stage automatically for further processing.
The manufacturing cell process is the one in which different machines are collected as peer their operations. The product moves from one place to other as per the type of action required. Example- Processing of furniture
