Potential enablers and disablers in aged care
Enablers :- These are the factors that encourages or enables the people specially old age/ elderly people to do some activities or something.
Disablers :- These are the factors that discourages or disables the people , specially old age/ elderly people to do some activities or something.
There are some potential enablers and disablers in aged care :-
Enabling factors:-
- Physical activity or exercises
- Positive outcome or positive response
- Positivity
- Health Benefits (physically, mentally, socially, spiritually)
- Easily accessable
- Social benefits , etc.
Disabling factors :-
- Health issues or problems regarding to the health
- Low self-esteem
- Weakness/tiredness
- Lack of support from family and friends
- Isolation
- Inconvenience
- Fear of Hazards to health
- Failure
- Negativity
