As CEO of a large health care system following are the measures can be taken to improve the quality of healthcare:

  • Improving the customer relations .i.e. hospitals should treat their customers well.
  • Well developing the facilities in hospitals.
  • Better employee customer interaction to improve business.
  • Doctors should be available round the clock so that if there is any emergency that can be combated.
  • Medicare TPA companies should be tied up from the hospitals for the better customer satisfaction.
  • Patho labs, MRI, Radiology, etc should be in same hospital so that customer need not to go other hospitals.
  • Pharmacies should be tied up for better medical facility round the clock.
  • Proper trainings to the staff including nurses, so that customer satisfaction can be achieved.
  • As a CEO, able to raise funds for better facilities for patients under the same roof.
  • Customer as well as employee delight so that the services can be improved.

Lets take example of two hospitals first is MANIPAL HOSPITALS and other is Colombia Hospital. In these two hospitals have better medical facilities along with equipment but the behavior in Colombia hospital is much better than Manipal Hospitals so the customer would prefer going to Colombia hospital, customer satisfaction is necessary so that he might recommend to his family and friends also, this improves business.
