Expert Solution

7.

can the female donate blood to the Male ?

Answer: Normally For the blood group There is no any need for gender. If the donor is a female she can give the blood to the Male (recipient).

But in the we can see that the female had a Type A, so she can give the blood to the Male. Because Male had a AB+ blood group. Type A there will be A antigen and antibodies. And the Male has AB+, so it is possible to donate the blood to the Male.

What blood types can the female can accept?

Answer: The female can get the blood from the people those whose are having O negative or A negative.

But she can give the blood to people those who are having AB negative, AB positive, An positive and A negative.

Does the female need to be concerned about hemolytic disease of the newborn?
Answer; yes

Yes, she have to concerned about the hemolytic diseases of the newborn. Because her blood group is negative. Considered as Rh negative.

which she will have the low inherited protein. If it is normal then it’s considered as Rh positive.

while giving birth if the mother is negative and the baby is positive. It will produce some antibodies if the mother and the baby blood get mixed. If it is not get mixed, There will be no problem.
Most of the time the blood will not get mixed. It will mixed only in the maternal distress ( Any complication to the mother while delivering the baby).

so the antibodies produced when the blood get mixed ( Rh negative and Rh positive). It will not affect the baby. But on the second delivery the antibodies will affect the baby ( Rh antibodies will get mixed with baby blood)

It leads to hemolytic diseases of newborn ( breakdown of the RBC red blood cell will be fast when compare to others, so the child will be very weak)

so If the mother is negative, she have to very concern about the hemolytic diseases on the delivery time.
