What techniques have you used in the past to help this individual to become a more critical thinker? What is one new technique that you could use in the teaching session to help this student dig out of this thinking rut?

What identifying signals do you see?

I can see lot of identifying signals . some of those are

1.He follows a fixed time table

2.He tries to be perfect under any conditions

3.He follows cultural values, rules, ethics without any reasonble thinking

4.He does n't acccept mistake.

How can you tell?

I ask him about some of his beliefs. After that i ask reasonable answers for his beliefs. Probably he can't say. Then i'll explain him about greatness of observation, logic, reason etc. I'll explain how well beliefs lead abnormal psychology and how well thinking builds personality.

What techniques have you used in the past to help this individual to become a more critical thinker?

I'll persuade him to do daily a new task, go to new place, meet new people. Then he can understand the diversity in this universe. I'll tell about him great critical thinkers like sigmund frued, alburt bandura and osho. I'll persuade him to read books.

What is one new technique that you could use in the teaching session to help this student dig out of this thinking rut?

I'll use a technique that operant condition learning. In this process i'll give awards, rewards, compliments for his critical thinking abilities, book reading abilities, involving abilities. I'll punish him when he failed in critical thinking. This type of operant condition learning technique i'll use.
