Latin'd religious geography is much different from the rest of the global society because of the highest number of people following the religion Christianity. There are many followers of this religion than any other religion in the world. They are mainly present in Latin America and Europe where they form about 17% of the population. There are various subgroups and division branches in this religion throughout the world like Eastern orthodox church in Russia and Roman catholicism. There are protestant christians in Africa and America where they form about 40% of the population. World map gives an indication of the spread of this religion of the world. Baptists are prevalent in rural areas whereas the urban areas consist of Roman catholics, Episcopalians, and Unitarians through-out the world. Latin america region has a bible belt region of christians. Religion is spread across the world as a result of diffusion. It is of two types expansion diffusion and relocation diffusion.
