ANSWER Food borne illness :- it occur when the person takes contaminated food or drinking contaminated water where bacteria, virus or parasites are present. IT occurs only by taking contaminated foods.

Examples of food borne illness :-

* E. coli

* Salmonella

* Noro virus

* Clostridium perfringes.

These pathogens ,bacteria enters the body when we take food and cause illness.

Mode of transmission :- ingestion of under coocked meat ,raw milk ,food items contaminated with faeces.

Signs and symptoms :-

Common signs and symptoms include diarrhea ,vomiting ,abdominal pain, dehydration ,fever,fatigue ,malaise ,loss of appetite,headache ,weakness.

Treatment includes :- supportive care in mild conditions oral rehydration and providing rest is important.

If need antidiarroheal drugs may used

Example :- Loperamide

Example of food borne illness cause :- Food borne illness,diarrhoe caused due to drinking raw milk, where E coli present in.

Food poisoning :- Food poisoning is a subset foodborne illness.That mostly happen because eating food which contains harmful microbes like E coli, staphylococcus,etc.

Examples:-

* Nausea,

* Vomitting,

* Stomach pains,

* Diarrhea,

* Headache,

* Feeling week,etc.

Food poisoning can be spread through eating contaminated water or drinking contaminated water,etc.

Mode of transmission:- eating raw or undercooked meet,eating raw or lightly heated egg or eating raw shellfish etc.

Signs and Symptoms:- Food poisoning symptoms are cramping, nausea, vomittingor diarrhea,headache or weekness,fever,etc.

Treatment:- Most food poisonings are common and decreases without treatment,just by ensuring that there is adequate hydration which is the main aspect of treatment . Medications also include antidiarroheal ,which reduces frequency and urgency of bowel movements.

Example of food poisoning cause:- Food poisoning cause due to eating raw or lightly heated egg due to salmonella.
