Which type of organizational commitment (affective-continuance or nominative) do you think is most important to the majority of employees?
Organizational commitment is the emotional and mental feeling which gives positive or negative psychology for the workplace. An employee always develops a commitment according to the working culture of the firm, his work profile, his seniors and colleagues, his need for the job no matter reason can be monetary or non-monetary. satisfaction, benefits, etc. The organizational commitment is a very important term as companies should treat their employees as asset and when they will make them happy and satisfied their productivity will increase. This will reduce absenteeism, employee turnover, recruitment processing costing, etc. The employee feels to commit to an organization when they have a healthy working environment, feel worthy, and self-recognized by participating in decision -making and problem-solving.
The types of organizational commitment are-
The majority of the employees should be Affective commitment because this is the emotional attachment which gives the power of working up to the best and creates a positive environment. This helps employees to work in a harmonious way and show the positive approach of the firm This all is done with the help of employee's satisfaction and happiness. If the majority of employees will be affectionate towards their firm then the organization's approach and vision will be clear and lead to progress.
