Determine which form of intelligence you feel to have the most significance in determining one's intelligence.

Introduction

Sternberg's alternative theorey of intelligence was established in the year of 1980. Robert Sternberg was the founder of this theorey.This theorey gives complete explaination of human intelligence by using different components.According to this theorey human intelligence is divided by distinct components rather than any single ability.

Three forms of Intelligence

The tri-archi theorey of intelligence stating that there are three different forms of Intelligence.

1) Componential - Analytic skills

2) Experiential- Creativity

3) Practical- Contextual skills

Componential-Analytic Skills

This form of intelligence refers to academic excellence. It also refers to having high IQ level. The person who are having this form of intelligence is generally more good at academic problem solving. These kind of people are generally able to find any kind of solutions rather than any normal people for having their abstract thinking ability.Not only that they are good at solving any kind of technical issues also. These kind of people generally gets success in their academic career.

As example

Angelina always achives the first position in any kind of standardized test.Because she is having a analytic skill to evaluate and analizing any kinds academic problem.This analytic skill comes from the componential form of intelligence.

Experiential- Creative Intelligence

This is the ability to thinking about new ideas and new inventions. So we can say that creativity to generate new ideas and new solutions is considered as the creative intelligence. This form of intelligence also refers to using prior knowledge and generating a new idea or solution.The creative intelligence has two different catagories also.These two catagories are Novelty and Automation.

Novelty

This refers to the ability to deal with a problem for the first time. In this form of intelligence, people cant use their prior experiences or skill to identify the solution of the problem. In this form, people have to generate their own ides without any kind of existing skills. This is completely depending on the creativity of the person.

Automation

This refers to the ability to deal with a problem by using prior existing skills. This is a ability of a person to perform automatically the repeated tasks. So it can be stated that this is basically the ability to generate a new idea by using prior existing experiences or skills.

As example

A detective person is high in the form of creative intelligence. Because everytime he use his knowledge and skills to find a new solution of every problem and these new solutions help him to solve any case.

Practical- Contextual Intelligence

This form of intelligence refers to the ability to adapt the environmental changes and adopting the suitable ideas according to their personal needs. This intelligence also considered as the Common sence. The ability to dealing everyday problems and using the actual skill to solve these problems. According to Stenberg, If a person has this form of intelligence then he is able to face any kind of concrete situation.

As Example

Lara is very determined to buy a perfume according to her choice. A salesman in the store, tries to convince her for buying an another perfume which is more expensive. But Lara say no to the salesman and bought her favourite perfume.This is an example of using practical intelligence.

Conclusion

According to my opinion, Each and every form of the intelligence is very much significant. Beacause people are different by their skills, ability and intelligent. So it can be stated that a person who is brilliant in his academic career not so brilliant in using creativity.This is very common and normal. So we can say that each and every person is having different kinds of intelligence so we are not able to assume them buy a single form of intelligence. we need to measure his all form of intelligence to find his actual ability. So according to my opinion, all these form have enough significance to determining someone's intelligence.
