The general condition of a theatre and the way it is decorated affects the expectations of an audience. The real condition of a stage and the way it has been decorated according to a play has a huge difference between them. An audience always moves ahead to a theatre in search of entertainment and amusement. The theatre shows become a successful one when the play, characters, setting, plot, visual stage design, and the music are all in sync with each other. The decoration, set design, props used, and the colors create a unique impact on the mind of the audiences. They highlight some of the important points to be assumed about the play that is going to be played after having a glance of it. Before any single line of dialogue or before the introduction of the play, the set up of the theatre gives a key to the play. The design and architecture used to build up the theatre enable the audiences to travel to the time period to which the play is in. the expectations of the audiences get molded upon the way they perceive the settings of the theatre. It creates an impact on the audiences about the effort, concentration, focus on minute details, and the coordination of the theatre group. It also provides with a pinch of information about the story and its progression to its end. The colors used to decorate the stage gives detail about the mood and aroma of the play. The costume designs and the makeups of the artists give an insight about their role and characteristics in the play. Stage lightening effects create a mood and reflect on the thinking of the characters. The absence of lights in the intense and important scenes and the choice of color of lightning makes the audience aware of the scenes. It also tells about the time and place that has been set up for the play. An audience-approachable design of the stage makes the audience feel engaged throughout the play from its first view onwards.
