Why dumping (exporting dangerous or banned items to other countries) should be illegal ?

Dumping should be illegal because -

1) It causes environmental problems - Exporting of dangerous or banned items to other countries will pollute their environment.Toxins or harmful materials entering the soil and water bodies effecting the drinking water, have adverse effects on human health.Accumulation of dumps at one place will effect the air in the surroundings and will also lead to more insects and mosquitoes which effect the environment causing deadly diseases.

Once the environment is polluted, it will cause many short term or long term diseases. Diseases like asthma , dizziness, stress, headache and infections in eye and respiratory system are examples of some short term diseases caused by polluted environment whereas if it continues for long term , it may cause cancer, respiratory problems, kidney, nervous system , brain or liver problems also.

2) It causes economic problems - Dumping causes decrease in value of property where they are accumulated because developers don't take interest in development of those communities.The people already living near those areas also feel ashamed due to the position of the place.Decrease in property values causes further decrease in tax revenues of government,which proves costly for government to clean up all this.
