HBV Hepatitis B Vaccine

Some vaccines produces life long immunity and some give immunity to body for a short period. The immunity from Hepatitis B is not for long periods and are short lived protection. Hepatitis B Vaccine provide Acquired passive immunity because it is plasma serum from immune individual which contains Human hepatitis B immunoglobulin. It is prepared from Plasma from screened donors. It is quick acting vaccine, providing immune response within days also can be override a reduced immune system. Healthcare worker are expected being more exposed to blood due to there job. So they got regular Hepatitis B Vaccination after some months. Although according to WHO it is recommended for all infants and children up to age eighteen. Also for adults in high risk groups should be vaccinated.
