How would you apply problem framing techniques? Have you ever observed a problem that was framed incorrectly?
Solution:
Problem framing techniques are techniques that are designed to help the formation of problems. This is a technique that is very crucial because as easy as it may sound, the problem formulation is one of the toughest things to do because of the nature of the work involved. We must frame the problem in a way to ensure that the underlying objective of asking or framing this problem is achieved. Hence, we must first know the objective for which the problem is to be framed. Without an objective, the framing of the problem will not be effective. Hence, every problem must have an underlying objective that drives the people to solve that problem to unearth the insights they get by doing so.
There are plenty of problems that are framed incorrectly mainly because of their failure to understand the objective of the problem. Any problem without an objective ebhind it is next to being useless or being framed incorrectly. This is why it is necessary to put a thought behind your problem development exercise and ocme up with objectives and then frame the problems accordingly.
Hence, this is how one must frame the problems to ensure they do not provide us with undesirable information.
