Here we will discuss some basic concepts related to legal and ethical issues in healthcare along with the examination of the impact of government decisions on medical management, litigation, and IRB.

1) AUTONOMY:- In the medical field or healthcare field, autonomy stands for the right to make a decision about proper healthcare by a patient. In the medical field the the the thee, the operation is allowed to take complete decisions regarding their treatment, health, medical facilities.

2) ETHICS:- In the medical field or healthcare field the medical ethics or healthcare ethics are the moral decisions that are taken by the medical institution to make sure that there is no harm to the patients in any way and patients feel comfortable and safe under the medical institution environment.

3) HIPPA:- HIPPA stands for the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. This act was established by the US government to make sure that the medical institution and healthcare institution make sure to protect the personal details and information of the patients disclosed and safe from anyone. This act was made to make sure that the information or data regarding the patient doesn't get into any wrong hands.

4) MALEFICENCE:- Maleficence refers to the act of harming and trying to harm patients. providing any kind of harm to patients would fall into the category of Maleficence.

5) BENEFICENCE:- Beneficence is the act of staff of the medical institutions such as nurses to make sure that they provide adequate and proper healthcare services and facilities to the patients to make sure that patients feel comfortable and safe in the medical institution and healthcare institution. this encourages the idea to provide the benefits of healthcare and medical institution to the patients properly.

6) HEALTHCARE PROXY:- Healthcare proxy is that kind of document which requires an agent on the behalf of the patient to make sure that when the patient is unable to make decisions for themselves on their own, then the agent will make the decisions on their behalf.

7) POWER OF ATTORNEY:- Power of attorney is considered to be a legal document which states that any person can stand out for anybody else for better health care facilities and anything regarding the medical institution and health care facilities for healthcare institutions and can express their concern about them.

8) ADVANCE DIRECTIVES:- Advance directives are just like health care proxies as this stipulates that at what action should be taken when the patient is no longer able to take or make decisions regarding their health in future in any way.

9) MALPRACTICES:- Malpractices are those activities that happen due to the negligence of the medical staff of healthcare institutions that can harm the patients and would lead to damage to the patient in any manner. The malpractices can take place in both ways intentionally and not intentionally, either way, they are bad for patients.

10) IRB:- IRB stands for the institutional review board. this board reviews all the ethical decisions which are made by the medical institution or health institution regarding their patients and to make sure that those decisions are for the positive perspective and don't have any patient in any manner.
