Solutions

Expert Solution

Potential Objection of locally produced food.

Time: Due to less efficient supply chain and economies of scale the products could be shipped late.

Need: Why would one buy the product when products sourced from outside are abundant.

Source: The locally produced food is not required because it is less clean and not packaged properly.

Product: There isn't much variety in this.

Price: It is expensive as compared to other products sourced from outside.

Prepared response:

Time: The products are shipped on daily basis and reach the vendors fast due to less distance being covered.

Need: Because it is organic and locally sourced.

Source: It is organic and less harmful to the environment as less fertilizers and pesticides are used. We use organic packaging.

Product: We specialise in certain vegetables which improves the quality of the product.

Price: It is expensive, but the quality is much better and can last longer which makes up for the price.

In future we are thinking of expanding and including more wholesome food and dairy products which will definitely increase sales and terms of trade.
