Characteristics of Cybersecurity Policy:

1. The cybersecurity policy should be usable i.e, the cybersecurity policy should block un authorised access to the data but it should be permissive to allow your employees and other trusted business parties use the dat

2. A good cybersecurity policy should be updated from time-to-time because the security terms which are good enough early years might not be secure enough now and everyday new kinds to attacks come up so the cyber security policy should be up tp date.

3. The cybersecurity policy should be rigid enough that it can manage human errors, these errors are such as employee sending confidential data or uploading company data by mistake the cybersecurity framework should be automated such that it counter acts human error.

4. Cybersecurity policy should be standard, it should follow all the standards such that the border or limit it issues should not be bypassed in any way it should be standardised.

5. Cybersecurity policy should be made in such a way that it counteracts all the possible list of exceptions so that no one can bypass the security in any kind of exceptional case it should be made by keeping all possible exceptions in mind.
