What are the effects of bullying on bullies?
1. Bullies tend to be physically strong, impulsive,
hot-tempered, belligerent, fearless, coercive, confident, and
lacking in empathy for their victims.
2. Victims of bullying tend to lack assertiveness and security.
They may also frequently display depression and bodily symptoms of
stress.
3. Without proper treatment, bullying behavior is likely to
continue into adulthood. It increases the risk of spousal or child
abuse, antisocial behavior, and substance abuse. Bullies are also
less likely to be educated or employed in the long term.
