Discuss each point of the AIDA plan and the purpose each serves in persuasion.
AIDA is the short form for Attention ,Interest , Desire and Action. this is an indirect model which is used in persuasive messages.
The first phase is ATTENTION where you try to attract the customer by giving them some new idea. They will listen you for sometime and decide whether to continue giving attention to your idea or not. It can be down through images or good lines. The purpose is to pull the reader and not push him away.
Second phase is INTEREST where you arise more interest by highlighting the benefits and the solution to the problem. the main idea is to keep the customer attracted and not let him bore.
Third phase is DESIRE where you keep yourself in the shoes of the reader and ask questions which may be there in the mind of the reader and answer them in order to clear all the uncertainties. You may also put evidences to support what you claim. The purpose is to clear all doubts and convince him.
And just when the reader is convince do the fourth phase i.e. ACTION - doing everything to which makes the audience to take action like giving contact number, providing deadlines and any other help that is required.
